...As you all may or may not have noticed, there has been a lack of activity on my end for the past three weeks. Yeah, I have an explanation, so just hear me out if you want to, alright?
TL;DR: For those who have no intention to waste time listening to my woes, I went to a summer camp and in the three weeks I stayed there I met nice weaboos, I met nice counselors who had no idea how to run a camp properly, some gross-ass kid pretty much got me sick for most of the time, I couldn't learn anything useful, and this whole waste-of-time-mess just screwed me over so badly that I couldn't bring myself to communicate with anyone on here. Yep, that's supposed to make sense. Thanks for hearing me out anyway.
Long version:
Like I said in one of my deviations, I was attending a summer camp where we learned how to code games. I've actually been to this particular institution before last year, and...I'm not sure whether this year it went better or a lot worse.
Good thing was that this year, the kids weren't douchebags. They were actually...really nice?? Like, they would actually come up and introduce themselves to me and stuff...I was so expecting to be completely ignored again, just like last year...
And honestly, the counselors weren't bad either. Just a little out of it, probably have no idea what they're doing. Still had good intentions though.
Well. There was this one kid...um, where do I start...

Every day he wears this really weird anime girl sweater...um...yeah, some really strange weaboo shit...and he doesn't even change it?? I swear it's the same weaboo anime girl outfit every day, plus the foul odor he leaves everywhere he goes doesn't make anything better-
Anyway,, every time we're in class I hear him making this really gross noise like he's blowing his nose or swallowing his own mucus or something, and...god, I'm feeling so sick typing about this right now?? That and his shit hygiene made this whole experience a lot worse than it could have been.
I'm pretty sure sitting in across the room from him is the reason I actually got really sick for the first week and a half. Or it could also be the fact that everything inside the building we were staying in probably hadn't been cleaned in two years judging from the amount of dust and grime everywhere. (Damn, are cleaning supplies really that expensive now? I would've thought $6,800 from each kid (over 150 in total, mind you) enrolling would be enough to cover the cost.)
Oh, and I was also completely surrounded by memeing weaboo all the time. (I feel like saying this renders me forever irredeemable) I got pulled in too after we were all forced to watch random animes during one of the activity periods. (I'm actually dying from laughter right now I cannot believe I just said that please forgive me omfg)
Moving on, in the second week our afternoon activities that we chose (we rated the choices of a list on a scale of one to seven, and they were assigned to us accordingly) were...randomized. So on Monday I somehow had to go shopping with a group and I had no money ?? It was just me wandering around with two girls for an hour and a half trying to reevaluate my life choices,, that's also the reason I'm $20 in debt to one of my roommates. (I was going to repay her once my parents came to pick me up, but she left for her state before I woke up on the last day and I'm forever guilty now lmao)
On Tuesday I got assigned to some random hike activity??? I wasn't even sure what it was since the name was just that obscure, so...
...that's how I ended up bringing 20 pounds of laptop and books in my bag, wearing too many clothes, not wearing sunscreen, still really sick, already pretty exhausted, and embarking on a 3-mile uphill hike. I wasn't even sure what the fuck was going on at that point, the bag strap was putting a 20-pound pressure on my sunburnt shoulders, and about a quarter of the way I was kindly informed that we had to continue for 3 miles. By then I couldn't even turn back because some counselor would probably get all angry at me for not participating, and naturally I didn't want to give anyone trouble anyway. After dragging myself through the trail, I was sure that I would have given them the trouble. My feet felt like they had been left a couple miles down the trail because I couldn't actually feel them anymore, and I'm certain that I was wearing a couple new sunburns too. I was actually ready to smack whoever actually did something as stupid as randomizing the fucking activities, counselor or not.
Speaking of activities, a few days ago I signed up for a movie despite the fact that the counselors didn't even disclose the movie title. "Well, okay, so it's a mystery movie!" When I walked into the right room, there were about 20 kids sprawled out on the couches looking more dead than alive and the counselors arguing among each other about which movie they should show. I asked them if they were on some shady-illegal-pirating website. They...said yes.
(Damn, now even Netflix is becoming nigh unaffordable. Capitalism y'all.)
(Let me just come to the conclusion right now that the afternoon activity choices are absolute crap. Thank you.)

Overall, I'm...um...I'm not sure about myself anymore. This whole wreck has been so mentally deteriorating that for this time period I've lost the confidence to reply to any messages and I'm sure there are month-old comments somewhere in there that need to be answered, and don't even get me started on the deviations. Drowning myself in fandom trash was the only way to cope for the time being. I....
I need a few more days......plus a vent...Then I'll pretend this all never happened!~ UvU I'll go back to finishing commissions, answer all my messages, come back to normal. I hope you all understand.
